A. D. SCOTT Fellowship in Economics

Two fellowships totalling $30,050 have been endowed to honour Anthony Scott, a distinguished Canadian economist and world pioneer in the economics of natural resources, environmental issues and federalism, who retired from the University in 1988. One fellowship is available to an incoming graduate student and a second is intended to support thesis research by a senior graduate student in one of Professor Scott's fields of interest. They are awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Economics in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
