Darlene J. THOMAS Memorial Award in Dental Hygiene

Award descriptionA $1,200 award has been endowed by colleagues and friends of Darlene J. Thomas, who was a driving force behind the establishment of the Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program (B.D.Sc) at The University of British Columbia. The award is granted to a dental hygiene student graduating with a B.D.Sc. Award recipients are chosen on the basis of high scholastic achievement as well as commitment, vision, leadership and professionalism. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry.
