KIN's Excellence Award in Food Science
A $2,000 award has been made available through an endowment established by Kin's Farm Market to a graduate student pursuing their M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Food Science with a focus on food safety, extended shelf life of produce, or produce and human health, in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. The successful recipient will be selected based on academic excellence, as well as demonstrated excellence in a range of non-academic fields such as community service, student leadership, and volunteerism. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
