KITZEL Award in Applied Biology

A $950 award is offered to a fourth year student in the B.Sc. (Applied Biology) Program who has demonstrated a strong sense of professionalism and community spirit and an understanding of the importance of, and a personal commitment to, primary agriculture. The award is established in honour of the Kitzel Family who, since 1977, have hosted at their dairy farm in Surrey, B.C. over 3,000 students and researchers from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.
