BRITISH Columbia Food Technologists Graduate Student Award

Award descriptionA $2,500 award is offered by the British Columbia Food Technologists for an outstanding graduate student in Food Science. The award recognizes a student who has demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, research excellence, commitment to teaching and mentoring, and a commitment to the ideals of the profession. In addition to the cash prize, the award includes a one-year membership in the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology. The award is made on the recommendation of an ad-hoc committee of Food Science faculty members in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
