BC Food and Beverage Assoc Awd in Food Science

Award descriptionA $2,500 award is offered annually by British Columbia Food and Beverage to a student in Food Science. In addition to the award, the selected student will receive a one-year membership to BC Food and Beverage. Preference is given to students who have volunteered or are currently volunteering for BC Food and Beverage. Volunteering with the Association enables the student to give back to the food processing community. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems, and in the case of graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
