Max B. WALTERS Cardiology Resident Award

A $750 award for excellence in Cardiology has been endowed by donations from colleagues, friends, family and patients in recognition of his distinguished service and dedication to education in the field of Cardiology in British Columbia. It is awarded to post-graduate students in the Cardiology training program. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Medicine, in consultation with the Cardiology Specialty Training Committee, on the basis of good academic standing and overall personal qualities. At the discretion of the committee, the sum may be divided between two or more residents.
