Dr Morton DODEK Award in Family Practice

Award descriptionA $1,850 award has been endowed to a resident in the Department of Family Practice who demonstrates care, compassion, and competency. The award was created by Dr. Arthur and Judith Dodek in honor of Dr. Morton Dodek, a graduate of UBC's first medical class in 1954 who spent many years as a full service family physician and exemplified commitment to family medicine. The award is made on the recommendation of the Director of the Family Practice Residency Program in the Faculty of Medicine.
