Patricia A. BAIRD Prize

Award descriptionA $2150 prize has been made available through an endowment established by friends and colleagues to honour Dr. Patricia A. Baird who served as Head of the Department of Medical Genetics from 1978 to 1989. The award, which includes a certificate, is made on the recommendation of the Department of Medical Genetics in consultation with a faculty committee to reward research excellence in Medical Genetics trainees. Eligible recipients include any student (undergraduate or graduate) or resident taking courses in Medical Genetics.
