Kievell Scholarship in Occupational Therapy

A $2,000 scholarship has been made available annually through a fund established at the Vancouver Foundation by Myrtle Lorena Kievell (1903-1989) in memory of her parents, James Wesley Kievell (1860-1938) and Margaret Gardiner Kievell (1871-1965), and brother, William Elder Kievell (1897-1965), for an outstanding female student in the Master of Occupational Therapy program. It is hoped that recipients of the scholarship will spend time in an area where medical help is needed in Canada or elsewhere. The scholarship is made on the recommendation of the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
