Kievell Scholarship in Medicine

Award descriptionA $2,000 scholarship has been made available annually through a fund established at the Vancouver Foundation by Myrtle Lorena Kievell (1903-1989) in memory of her parents, James Wesley Kievell (1860-1938) and Margaret Gardiner Kievell (1871-1965), and brother, William Elder Kievell (1897-1965), for an outstanding third oe fourth year female student in the Faculty of Medicine. It is hoped that award recipients of the scholarship will spend time in an area where medical help is needed - in Canada or elsewhere. The scholarship is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
