Dr. John L. OULTON Memorial Prize in Anaesthesia

Award descriptionA $250 prize has been endowed in memory of Dr. John L. Oulton, by his friends and associates. Dr. Oulton was a Clinical Associate Professor in Anaesthesia and Assistant Director of Anaesthesia at the Vancouver General Hospital. He was Director of the Departmental Medical Technology Laboratory at the time of his sudden passing in 1981. He is remembered well for his clinical and scientific expertise in the area of medical technology development in Anaesthesia. The prize is awarded to the undergraduate proceeding to the fourth year considered by the Department as demonstrating general proficiency in the understanding of Clinical Anaesthesia.
