Antonio and Iolanda Giuseppina MINICUCCI Award in Medicine

Award descriptionThree awards of $2,050 each are offered to students in their 3rd or 4th year in the MD program to recognize outstanding academic achievement with demonstrated service to the community. This award is established in loving memory of Antonio Minicucci by his wife, Iolanda Giuseppina. Antonio and Iolanda Giuseppina, who immigrated to Canada in 1957, have always been strong believers in the importance of education. They have never had children of their own and, after working hard all their lives, wanted to leave a legacy that would support the next generation by helping deserving students in the future. Recommendations are made by the Faculty of Medicine.
