PROVINCIAL Chapter of British Columbia IODE Centenary Aboriginal Award in Medicine

Award descriptionA $1,000 award is offered by the Provincial Chapter of British Columbia IODE, on the occasion of its Centenary Anniversary, to celebrate their longstanding commitment to recognizing scholastic excellence and supporting the financial need of students at all levels. The award is available to an Aboriginal MD student in their fourth year who has achieved good academic standing. Preference is given to a student who has been matched to a Family Medicine Residency and who is in need of financial assistance. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
