Margaret Rai-Choudhury Award in Medicine

Award descriptionAwards totalling $81,200 have been made available through an endowment established by the estate of Margaret Rai-Choudhury (1933-2016) for M.D. students who demonstrate a desire to support individuals who are economically disadvantaged. Financial need may be considered. Margaret worked in the UBC Library in the 1950s. This award was created to help disadvantaged individuals and communities. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
