Thomas M. C. TAYLOR Prize in Botany

A $300 prize, honouring the late Dr. T. M. C. Taylor, has been endowed by his friends, former graduate students and colleagues. Dr. Taylor was Professor of Botany at UBC from 1946 to 1968, and Head of the Department from 1954 to 1965. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department to an undergraduate student of high academic standing in the field of vascular plant botany (based on academic achievement in Biology 322 and/or Biology 324).
