Jongman KIM Memorial Prize in Korean Legal Studies

Award descriptionA $400 prize has been endowed in memory of Jongman Kim by his friends, clients and colleagues for a student who has demonstrated excellence in Korean legal studies. Among the first Korean-Canadians to be called to the bar, Jongman Kim dedicated his life to building bridges between the Canadian and Korean cultures and to fostering community leadership among young Korean-Canadians. The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
