Raymond G. HERBERT Award in Law

A $1,200 award honours the best all-round graduating student in the Peter A. Allard School of Law. Endowed by his many friends, the award honours Ray Herbert, D.F.C., C.D., Q.C., who rendered distinguished service to his country both in war and peace, to his university and its Peter A. Allard School of Law, and to the legal profession in B.C. Candidates must have ranked in the top half in the two preceding winter sessions. Academic achievement, athletic involvement, moral force of character, and ability to serve, work with and lead others are considered. The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
