Richard R. SUGDEN, QC Prize in Trial Advocacy

Prizes totalling $6,900 have been endowed through gifts from colleagues and friends in honour of Richard (Rick) Sugden, QC (LL.B.1973) for outstanding achievement by law students in trial advocacy. This endowment recognizes Mr. Sugden's career as a highly accomplished civil and commercial litigator in Vancouver. Mr. Sugden also served his profession with great distinction by providing guidance, counsel and representation to fellow lawyers facing professional and ethical issues. Up to four awards can be made each year on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
