Glenn A. URQUHART, QC Memorial Scholarship in Law

Award descriptionA $1,600 scholarship has been endowed in memory of Glenn A. Urquhart, QC by his family. The award is for a JD student in the Peter A. Allard School of Law who has achieved high standing in Construction Law or Alternate Dispute Resolution courses. Financial need may be considered. Glenn Urquhart, QC was a highly respected litigation lawyer and, in later years, mediator and arbitrator in the construction law area. He was well known for his down-to-earth manner and keen sense of humour. His intelligent and practical approach made him a trusted advisor and a friend to many. The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
