Ian TOWNSEND-GAULT Memorial Graduate Research Award in Law

A $2,000 award has been made available annually through a gift from friends and family in memory of Ian Townsend-Gault (1952-2016) for outstanding students in research-based graduate programs in the Peter A. Allard School of Law. Preference will be given to students conducting research in Asian law or international law. Ian Townsend-Gault was the Founding Director for the Centre for Asian Legal Studies at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, where he served as an Associate Professor. This academic award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
