Ovintiv Canada ULC Award in Commerce for Indigenous Students

Award descriptionAwards totalling $25,000 have been made available annually through a gift from Ovintiv Canada ULC, for First Nations, Inuit, or M?tis students in the Bachelor of Commerce program who have achieved good academic standing. Preference will be given to students who are from British Columbia. Ovintiv Canada ULC is a North American exploration and production (E&P) company focused on developing its multi-basin portfolio. Ovintiv Canada ULC created this award as part of their commitment to working with Indigenous communities on economic development and community investment focused on wellness, education and cultural preservation. The awards are made on the recommendation of the UBC Sauder School of Business.
