Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. Award in Commerce for Indigenous Students

Award descriptionAwards totalling $5,000 have been made available annually through a gift from Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. for First Nations, Inuit, or M?tis students of Canada in the Bachelor of Commerce program who have achieved good academic standing. Procon Mining and Tunneling Ltd. is a mine development contractor that was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia. Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. established this award to help lower financial barriers for Indigenous students pursuing higher education. The awards are made on the recommendation of the UBC Sauder School of Business.
