Ann-Britt EVERETT Memorial Award

Award descriptionAwards totalling $2,000 have been made available annually through gifts from friends and family in memory of Ann-Britt Everett (1973-2019). The awards are available for students in the Master of Business Administration program who are (1) exchange students from Denmark, (2) UBC students going on exchange at a university in Denmark, or (3) hold Danish citizenship and are completing their entire M.B.A degree at UBC. Ann-Britt was born in Nykobing Falster, Denmark, and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2001. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Administration and Commercial Law from the Copenhagen Business School, and spent a semester abroad at UBC in the M.B.A. program. She served as Honorary Consul for Denmark to British Columbia from 2015 to 2019. This award was established in recognition of Ann-Britt's passion for connecting people, building cultural bridges, and her work to support the Danish community in Vancouver. The award is made on the recommendation of the Robert H. Lee Graduate School.
