UX Lab

What is UX?

UX, also known as User Experience, considers all aspects of the user’s interactions with a company, service, or product. In UBC’s case, this means our websites, systems, and applications.

About the UX Lab

As part of UBC Student Communications Services, the UX Lab conducts user research and usability testing to ensure students, faculty, staff, and the general public can navigate our digital communications and channels easily and effectively.

Participate in the studies

The UX Lab runs studies with students on campus or online through questionnaires, in-person testing, and user interviews.

Depending on the study and length of the test, you can get freebies like chocolate bars or UBC Food Services gift cards. Join the mailing list below to get notified about these opportunities.
