This webinar first features Karen Fediuk and Suzanne Johnson, who will provide a review on some of the relevant food security and nutrition research undertaken with First Nations Peoples. Then, Melanie Kurrien will open the dialogue by providing the latest research on household food insecurity (HFI), discussing how HFI is framed in Canada, and looking at how the current discourse on HFI may or may not apply to the Indigenous context.
