Events: Sep 24 to 30

Yes, it’s almost October. Yes, that’s wild because the term started yesterday. And yes, school is starting to get crazy…but…what was I saying? Oh yeah, events! Check these out.

Managing your Budget workshop

More info.

Flow Yoga at the UBC Bookstore

Why you should go

If you’re curious about yoga but don’t want to pay the big bucks, this $5 class is made for you.

  • When: Wed, Sep 26 | 1:30 pm & 3:30 pm

  • Price: $5

  • Where: UBC Bookstore

Beckett 18: It all...ah well

Why you should go

You’ll see some great theatre…and get cake and champagne after the performance.

DETAILS

If you’ve never seen a Samuel Beckett play before, or if you’ve never heard of the guy, do yourself a favour and check out this showcase. His plays are curiously absurd and delightful, which is why this is Gerald Vanderwoude’s 18th time directing works by Beckett for UBC Theatre and Film. Plus, there’s cake and champagne after the show, and the proceeds go towards a student scholarship fund!

  • When: Wed, Sep 26 - Sat, Sep 29 | 7:30 pm

  • Price: $10

  • Where: Frederic Wood Theatre

Get your questions answered about what academic options are available post-undergrad.

  • When: Fri, Sep 28 | 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
