Has your snack got what it takes?

We all have our favourite go-to snacks.

Mine, for example, is apples and peanut butter. Or, more truthfully, a generous handful of salt and vinegar chips. Unfortunately, if we spent every day snacking on chips and chocolate, we wouldn’t have the energy or focus to get anything done. Eating well helps our immune system and allows us to focus on tasks like writing and schoolwork.

Thrive, a week of events geared toward building positive mental health at UBC, is throwing a contest to share the love of healthy snacking. They’re looking for budding chefs in the UBC community who have a great healthy snack recipe.

The winning recipe will be featured at a UBC Food Services outlet for everyone to enjoy. Plus the winner will receive a $50 Food Services gift card!
