Taking care of your mental health at UBC

If you need help right away, 24/7 support is available. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself or others, call 911.

This can be a challenging time of year for many students. You might find you are struggling to stay on top of courses, friendships, family responsibilities, or work—and maybe those difficulties are starting to affect how you feel.

Things can feel big and daunting, but you’d be surprised how often just talking to someone can make a big difference. Big changes can start with small steps, and you can start small to see what works for you. UBC offers lots of low-barrier self-help and peer support to help you get started, and professional support if you need it.
